Try Singing to Warm Your Soul….

Greetings, Friends.....It's been a while!
I've been plugging along, same as you, I'm sure. Here are my latest thoughts as we enter a New Year!

I found a new (old) Pooh book at the library book sale! This little bear with fluff in his head always sounds like the wisest one in the room to me! You might remember this passage......Let me share.

"They were out of the snow now, but it was very cold, and to keep themselves warm
they sang Pooh's song right through six times, Piglet doing the tiddely-poms and Pooh doing the rest of it, and both of them thumping on the top of the gate with pieces of stick at the proper places. And in a little while they felt much warmer, and were able to talk again. "(A.A. Milne)

Take it Slow
The world today seems to want us to hurry up and hurry up.
There's a lot we can miss by taking this mindset all the time. Maybe that's why I always love what Pooh has to say.  He's just so simply.....profound!  If we can take a breath or two and slow down, navigating through those hard things can seem more approachable. Or maybe take time to sing a song, even if you're just humming it in your head. It can work like a re-boot for your system!

Using Your Strengths
Knowing yourself...those things that really make you You, can also help to get you through the sticky times.

Knowing, understanding and using our innate strengths can make tasks seem easier, help us find “the flow”.

Be in the driver's seat of your life. It's a sure-fire way to get out of the stuckness of BurnOut!
